We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and carry out your project:

• Details you give us through our quote forms: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, project type, approximate size and any message.
• Photos and messages you send us by WhatsApp, email or phone.
• Details needed to survey, quote for and complete your work, such as your address and access arrangements.
• Basic technical information that any website receives, such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider may log for security.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a survey (our legitimate interests and steps before entering a contract).
• To prepare quotations, carry out work and handle aftercare (performance of a contract).
• To keep records for accounting and tax purposes (legal obligation).

We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

We only share information with trusted services that help us run the business, under appropriate safeguards:

• Web3Forms, which delivers website form submissions to our inbox.
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us that way.
• Our website hosting provider, email provider and accountants.
• Material suppliers or manufacturers only where needed for a warranty or product query about your project.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted within 24 months. Customer and project records are kept for up to 6 years after the work is finished, to meet accounting requirements and handle any aftercare or warranty questions.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
